Household Tax Credit – Get Subsidies for Your Air-to-Water Heat Pump

Household Tax Credit

You can use the household tax credit, which covers the labour portion of the installation. The credit is 35% of the labour cost, up to a maximum of 1600 € per year. It is personal, so you and your spouse can receive a total deduction of 3200 €. The deductible’s self-liability is 150 € per person.

Increased Household Tax Credit for Switching from Oil Heating

The government encourages replacing oil heating with an environmentally friendly alternative. You can receive an increased household tax credit when you replace oil heating with, for example, an air-to-water heat pump.

The increased credit is 60% of the labour cost, up to 3500 € per person. Together with a spouse, you can receive up to 7000 € in support. The self-liability is 150 € per person, as with the standard household tax credit. The increased credit applies to the years 2022–2027.
